Q:
Using a proxy with Symfony
I'm trying to find out how I can set the HTTP_PROXY environment variable from within my Symfony code (and no, I don't want to use.htaccess). I'm using a reverse proxy to get through an intranet firewall.
I know I can access environment variables by using $env.KEY = "value";, but I can't see how to set the value of the HTTP_PROXY variable.
A:
It's easy - just call ini_set().

I just want to add that if you use a service like FosRestBundle, it automatically configures the HTTP_PROXY environment variable.
First you need to make sure you are using the proxy in your code.
In your config.yml, you need to configure your proxy service like so:
fos_rest:
#...
access_control:
- { path: ^/api/v1/, roles: IS_AUTHENTICATED_ANONYMOUSLY }
- { path: ^/api/v2/, roles: IS_AUTHENTICATED_FULLY }
proxies:
http_proxy: ''
Then make sure you call ini_set('http_proxy', '') in a controller or service class.
[Comparative study of endomyocardial biopsy and radioisotopic myocardial perfusion imaging].
To evaluate the myocardial perfusion and function, the authors studied 31 patients who underwent both endomyocardial biopsy and radioisotopic myocardial perfusion imaging. Myocardial perfusion was evaluated by radioisotopic scintigraphy in the resting state and after atrial pacing. Left ventricular end-diastolic pressure (LVEDP) was measured before and after ac619d1d87
